The new header is, as always, from my garden. I was stalking about after a rain shower and caught the jewels of the new raindropsĀ on the acer leaves and couldn’t resist them. This burgeoning time of the year is truly the most special, and it refreshes and uplifts me every year. Thank you, Goddess; I remember You every time I set foot upon the earth.

And look what FoxChild grew!

Aw! Thank you, dear!
I love the new header pic!
Cheers, my angel. Your flowers are truly lovely.
Ladies- your pictures are wonderful- my macro lens just does not want to do what I want it to do and what the eye can see the camera does not. Ah well, I’ll keep practising until I can get them right. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Shamrockwitch! Typically, my husband disposed of the camera manual when he bought it, so these are the result of MUCH frenzied and swear-laden experimentation!!
The raindrops look like little blessings! what is the pretty white flower that you have in the top piccy?
That’s a Magnolia stellata , Ceri. One of my faves at this time of year; it’s just a little tree but still managed to put me out a flower! I’m hoping for more next year, I’m feeding it like mad.
Ah thanks, the blossom has a sense of purity about it.
Gorgeous, isn’t it. It’s in my shade garden – all pale greens, whites, blues and silvers. Get me, I sound like Alan Titchmarsh!
The water droplets on the Acer leaves are just wonderful and really catch the essence of what now is all about – the Greening, and all that is required for the Greening to happen. Really lovely – thank you!
The Greening – that’s lovely – thank you for that, Andy!
